When you rent event furniture in Lucerne from us, you get beer table sets, wooden folding chairs, banquet tables, standing tables and bar counters, without a tent as well. On top there is wooden flooring, LED spots and electric heaters. We deliver into the city and to the villages on Lake Lucerne and collect everything again after the party. For the Luzerner Theater anniversary we fitted out a whole banquet hall this way.
A beer table set at 220 by 60 cm, table and two benches, costs CHF 25. Wooden folding chairs with a white cushion start at CHF 9, in teak or as a crossback chair at CHF 10. The 80 by 120 cm banquet table costs CHF 20, the standing table CHF 25. The black 1.50 m bar counter costs CHF 150, a lounge element CHF 125. Wooden flooring is CHF 12 per square metre.
In Lucerne the building insurer GVL looks at the seating at events. Its 2026 checklist checks rows of chairs, spacing and escape routes. If the escape routes are not enough, the number of guests has to come down, and the organiser is liable. That is why we draw the plan with the aisles before we count the chairs. We never put the bar counter in front of an exit.
If you sell food or drinks at the party, you need a hospitality licence in the canton of Lucerne. The application goes to the trade and hospitality police of the Lucerne police at least three weeks ahead, not to the municipality. It lists the number of people, the location, toilets and what the tent and stands are. The fee is between CHF 30 and CHF 1,500 per day and unit. You get the list with tent, bar counter and stands from us in good time.
In 2022 we turned a tent into a banquet hall for 250 guests for the Luzerner Theater anniversary. Wooden floor across the whole area, long tables, chandeliers above them.
