When you rent a pavilion in Lucerne from us, you get pavilions from 3 by 3 to 4 by 8 metres, delivered and set up. They can be joined in a row, for a single stand as well as a long cover in the garden. On hard ground we set them up with ballast. If your stand is on public ground in the City of Lucerne, you get the dimensions and the layout plan for the application from us.
The smallest pavilion measures 3 by 3 metres and costs CHF 200. At 4 by 4 metres it is CHF 250, at 3 by 6 metres CHF 300. The 4 by 6 metre pavilion costs CHF 450, the largest at 4 by 8 metres CHF 550. All sizes can be joined in a row. We handle delivery, set up and take down.
Anyone setting up in a City of Lucerne park hands the site over with Stadtgrün Luzern beforehand and has it inspected again afterwards. We build these appointments into the set up. Nothing may be fixed to trees, and the permit holder pays for any damage to the lawn. So on city lawn we check whether weights will do instead of deep anchors. On paved squares we use ballast anyway.
In the City of Lucerne, tents, stands and events on public ground need a permit, even for a single day. The request goes through the portal oeg.stadtluzern.ch, at least two weeks before the date. It needs a site plan to scale, which we draw for you. The city charges a fee per square metre and day.
In Lucerne we equipped the Luzerner Theater anniversary in 2022, with a tent rather than pavilions. The tent became a banquet hall for 250 guests, with a wooden floor across the whole area.
