When you rent event furniture in Graubünden from us, we deliver beer table sets, wooden folding chairs, banquet tables, standing tables and bar counters. Wooden flooring, lighting and electric heaters come with it. You do not have to rent a tent from us, we also deliver to a hall or to a tent that is already up. We plan the table layout around the escape routes that the Graubünden building insurer requires. After the party we collect everything again.
A beer table set with a table and two benches costs CHF 25. The wooden folding chair costs CHF 9, teak and crossback CHF 10 each, cushion included. The banquet table at 80 by 120 centimetres costs CHF 20, standing and bistro tables CHF 25 each. The black bar counter is CHF 150, the wooden floor CHF 12 per square metre. Electric heaters cost CHF 35, 50 or 80 depending on output.
For tent structures, Graubünden applies the VKF fact sheet, supplemented by a planning guide from the building insurer (GVG). For banquet seating it requires direct escape routes of at least 1.2 metres and at least 1.4 metres between tables. It assumes one person per square metre. Up to 50 people you need one 0.9 metre exit, up to 100 people two. So the plan, not the floor area, tells you how many tables fit in your tent. At altitude we like to lay a wooden floor against the cold from below.
From 300 people in a tent or 1000 people outdoors, the project documents go to the cantonal fire safety authority. It checks, approves and inspects before the start. Mobile heating units may not be set up in the open with more than 300 people, so our electric heaters are the obvious choice here. Serving drinks at an event needs a catering permit from the municipality, in Surses for example at least a month ahead. Spirits need a cantonal permit.
In Graubünden we equipped the catering zone along the race track for the Swiss Epic in 2023, with tents and pavilions. We put it up and took it down again stage by stage, over several days. It was a sports event, not a furniture-only job.
