When you rent event furniture in Lausanne from us, you get wooden folding chairs, crossback chairs, banquet tables, beer table sets, standing tables and bar counters. On top come wooden flooring, LED spots and electric heaters. You do not need to rent a tent from us for this, we also deliver to a hall or a garden. We set everything up and collect it again after the party. For Lausanne we plan the seating from the start around the exits that the canton of Vaud sets according to the number of guests.
The wooden folding chair costs CHF 9, teak and crossback CHF 10 each, cushion included. The banquet table at 80 by 120 cm costs CHF 20, the beer table set with table and two benches CHF 25. Standing and bistro tables are CHF 25 each, the black bar counter CHF 150 and a lounge element CHF 125. Wooden flooring is CHF 12 per square metre, LED spots CHF 35, electric heaters CHF 35 to 80. The building insurer ECA Vaud sets the exits according to the number of people. Up to 50 people one exit of 0.90 metres is enough, up to 100 people you need two. Up to 200 people it is three exits or one of 0.90 and one of 1.20 metres, above that at least two of 1.20 metres. The escape route is at most 35 metres long. We place the tables so that no exit is blocked.
According to ECA Vaud, mobile heaters may not be set up freely in spaces for more than 300 people. For large events we therefore plan the heaters in as fixed positions. If your event is on public ground, the City of Lausanne offers a temporary power connection through SIL. You apply for it in the same permit application. If drinks are sold at the bar, for example at a club party, the sale runs through the cantonal portal POCAMA with three months' lead time.
Above Lake Geneva we put up the tent for a wedding in 2026, on a gentle slope with the front open to the lake. The tables ran across the gradient. That is how we approach your seating too, by looking at the site first.
