How we handle your data, under the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG).

For questions about data protection an email or a phone call is enough.
What data we process
We only process data you give us yourself or that arises technically when the website is used.
- Enquiry form: name, email, phone number, selected service and your message.
- Server logs: IP address, time, page requested, browser and operating system.
- Contact by phone or email: whatever you tell us in the process.
What we need the data for
We use the data from the enquiry form solely to answer your enquiry and prepare a quote. If an order follows, we process it for the delivery and for the statutory retention of business records. Server logs serve the secure operation of the website.
We do not sell data and do not use it for third party advertising.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted after twelve months at the latest. Order documents are kept for ten years, as required by the Swiss Code of Obligations. Server logs are deleted after 30 days at the latest.
Services we use
A few external providers keep the website running. They only receive the data they need for their task.
- Hosting with a provider running servers in Europe. That is where the server logs arise.
- Resend for sending the form enquiry to our mailbox. The details entered in the form are transmitted.
- Google Maps for the map on the contact page. When the map loads, your IP address is transmitted to Google. If you do not want that, do not open the contact page or block the map frame in your browser.
Cookies and statistics
We use no advertising cookies and no tracking across websites. Technically necessary cookies may be set when the form is submitted, they contain no personal details.
Your rights
You have the right to information about the data we process about you, as well as to correction, deletion and release. An email to info@zeltvermietung.ch is enough. We answer within 30 days.
You can also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Security
The website runs encrypted over HTTPS. Even so, we cannot fully guarantee the security of data transmission over the internet, and with email in particular there is a risk of access by third parties.
