When you rent a pavilion in Graubünden from us, it is delivered, set up and collected again. There are five sizes from 3 by 3 to 4 by 8 metres, from CHF 200. The pavilions can be joined in a row until the area is covered. On hard ground we set them up with ballast. On Lenzerheide they have already stood on a wooden deck by the lake.
XS at 3 by 3 metres costs CHF 200, S at 4 by 4 metres CHF 250. M measures 3 by 6 metres for CHF 300, L 4 by 6 for CHF 450 and XL 4 by 8 for CHF 550. For a catering zone or a market stall we join several in a row. You can also rent the pavilions without a tent.
According to MeteoSwiss, the foehn blows more often overall in Chur than in Altdorf. Most foehn days come in April and May, with a second peak in autumn, while summer has little foehn. For a spring or autumn event in the Rhine valley we plan ballast or anchoring from the start. Before setting up we check the foehn forecast. If the wind gets too strong, we take the pavilions down.
Pavilions at an event in Graubünden need no building permit. Other permits still apply, though. Anyone using public ground in Chur beyond normal public use, for example with a market stall in the old town, needs a permit from the city. The application goes to the Support und Gewerbepolizei at least four weeks before the event. In other municipalities, ask the municipal office.
In 2023 we equipped an anniversary on Lenzerheide. Our pavilions stood on the wooden deck by the lake, at around 1500 metres. Set up in the morning, party in the evening.
